The area of London surrounding Paddington Station is one of the best parts of the city to consider making your base of operations while on a holiday visit. Paddington Station itself offers easy access to the rest of London, but the Paddington area has plenty to offer within walking distance. Just south of Paddington Station is lovely and historic Hyde Park, and Kensington Palace and Gardens - Regents Park is just a short cab ride to the northeast.
