Top Tips For Visiting The United Kingdom

Britain is a brilliant holiday destination because you will have such myriad options upon arrival regarding what you want to do. The United Kingdom has an incredibly diverse culture and landscape, meaning that however you like to spend your time, you’ll be able to do the things that you love doing. Here are my top tips for places to go and things to do in Britain:

1. Visit the capital city, London. This mammoth metropolis is an incredible mulch of cultures and histories that offers something for everybody. I would definitely recommend taking a lengthy stroll around the city’s streets to see some of the exceptional architecture. Westminster Abbey’s steeples and vestibule are not to be missed while the domed ceiling of St Paul’s is also quite a sight. The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye are also all spectacular structures. I would also suggest a stroll though one of the royal parks, perhaps Green Park, where you can relax in the luscious grass or go boating on one of the lakes. Green Park also contains the royal stables, and if you want to go riding yourself then head for Richmond Park in the south west of the city.

2. If you are a fan of golf, Britain has a varied selection of courses and ranges dotted all over the country. You can also save yourself money and hassle by booking your rounds of golf at the same time as you purchase your accommodation. The best place to find a good deal on a UK golf hotel package is to have a look online.

3. If you are travelling with children, take them to Blackpool. This seaside town offers not only a sandy beach but also an incredible theme park – Blackpool Pleasure Beach – and a Sealife centre. It is consequently a wonderful place to have a holiday with the kids and you can even stay in one of the Blackpool Pleasure Beach hotels so that your kids are in easy walking distance of the attractions and safe inside the park’s perimeters.
